football.london understands that Mosquera is keen to sign for the Gunners this summer, even rejecting a new contract with Valencia as he seeks a move to North London.
With Mosquera continuing to be linked with a move to Arsenal, it seems that Valencia have confirmed a decision that may offer a hint over the centre-back's future.
Valencia have confirmed that Mosquera has already linked up with the squad for pre-season training after featuring for Spain at the Euro Under-21 Championships earlier this summer.
Mosquera's last appearance for his country came on June 21 when they lost to England in the quarter-final of the competition.
Mosquera made three appearances for his country at the tournament earlier in the summer, missing only the final group match against Italy.
The 21-year-old played a key role in helping Spain progress out of their group to reach the quarter-final, but could not prevent the Young Lions from claiming a victory.
Arsenal are not the only club to be linked with a move for Mosquera this summer.
Atletico Madrid and AC Milan have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the defender, who impressed with Valencia last season.
It's thought that Mosquera has a £77.5 million release clause in his contract with the La Liga outfit. It remains to be seen what Valencia will do regarding Mosquera's future if the centre-back continues to reject their contract offer.
