IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the application process for recruitment to 10,277 posts of Clerk. Interested candidates can apply from 1 August 2025 to 21 August 2025 by visiting www.ibps.in or ibpsonline.ibps.in.

Candidates applying for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Also, the age of the candidate should be between 20 and 28 years. That is, the candidate should not be born before 2 August 1997 or after 1 August 2005.
Age limit relaxation has also been given under the reservation policy of the government. SC and ST category candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit, while OBC category candidates will be given 3 years. The cut-off date for calculation of age and qualification will be considered as 1st August 2025.
Selection Process and Preliminary Exam Pattern
The selection process of IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 takes place in two stages. Online Prelims Exam and Online Mains Exam. In the preliminary exam, candidates have to answer 100 questions in a total of 60 minutes, which are worth a total of 100 marks. It includes 30 questions from English Language (30 marks), 35 questions from Numerical Ability (35 marks), and 35 questions from Reasoning Ability (35 marks).
Main Exam Pattern and Negative Marking
In the main exam, a total of 190 questions will be asked in 160 minutes, which will be worth 200 marks. It will have 50 questions (50 marks) from General/Financial Awareness, 40 questions (40 marks) from General English, 50 questions (60 marks) from Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, and 50 questions (50 marks) from Quantitative Aptitude. Negative marking is also applicable in the exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both the preliminary and main exams. Note that the final merit list will be prepared only based on marks obtained in the Mains exam.
What is the salary of a clerk?
The starting basic salary for the IBPS Clerk post is Rs 24,050 per month, which can go up to a maximum of Rs 64,480 per month depending on experience and promotion. Apart from this, the clerk also gets DA, HRA, and other allowances, which makes the total in-hand salary higher.

Click on New Registration and fill in your name, mobile number, email, etc. Once the registration is complete, you will get a registration number and password.
Log in and fill in your personal details, educational qualification, address and other required information.
Upload passport size photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in the prescribed format and size.
Pay the application fee through online mode as per your category.
Check everything carefully, then submit.
