NIT Jamshedpur Vacancy 2025: This is a great opportunity for the youth preparing for jobs in government non-teaching posts. National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur has invited applications for recruitment to various posts, including Assistant Librarian, Assistant Registrar, Junior Engineer, and Pharmacist. Interested candidates can apply through the official website nitjsr.ac.in till 11 July 2025.

Through this recruitment, non-teaching posts will be filled under Group A, Group B, and Group C. These include many posts like Technical Assistant, Technician, Senior Technician, Assistant Registrar, Pharmacist, Library Assistant.

Qualification for Group A Posts

For the post of Principal Scientific Officer in NIT Jamshedpur, candidates must have a B.E./B. A Tech or M.Sc./MCA degree in a relevant subject and 15 years of experience are mandatory. At the same time, at least 60% marks with a master's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science are required for the Assistant Librarian.

Qualification for Group B and C posts

For the post of Pharmacist, candidates must have passed the 12th class with Science (PCB/PCM) subjects. At the same time, for the post of Senior Assistant, along with 12th, typing speed is also a condition. For all other posts, the qualification has been fixed according to the post. Age limit and pay scale

To participate in the recruitment process of NIT Jamshedpur, the maximum age of the candidates should not be more than 27, 30, 33, 35, or 56 years, according to the post.

The selected candidates will get a basic pay scale of Rs 25,000 to Rs 1,44,200 according to the post. Apart from this, other benefits, including dearness allowance, HRA, and travel allowance, will also be provided as per the rules of the Central Government, which will further increase the total salary.

This much will be the application fee.

To apply for this recruitment, a fee of Rs 2000 is fixed for Group A posts, Rs 1000 for Group B, and Rs 500 for Group C. This fee is for candidates of the UR, OBC, and EWS categories. The SC/ST/PWD category is exempt from the fee.
