RRC WCR Apprentice 2025: 10th, ITI pass youth have a chance to get a government job in railways..

There is good news for the youth who are dreaming of a government job in the railways. West Central Railway has announced recruitment for a bumper number of apprenticeship posts, for which the application process has started from 30th August. To participate in the recruitment, candidates can fill out the form by visiting the official websitewcr.indianrailways.gov.inthrough online mode. The last date for filling the application form and depositing the fee is 29 September 2025.

10th, ITI pass can apply

To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have passed the 10th class or its equivalent (under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. Along with this, an ITI certificate should be obtained from NCVT / SCVT.

Age limit
The minimum age of the candidates for applying for apprentice posts should not be more than 15 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 24 years. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates coming from the reserved category as per the rules. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated as of 20 August 2025.

To apply for this recruitment, first go to the official website wcr.indianrailways.gov.in.

On the home page of the website, click on the link next to For Online Application against Notification No. 01/2025 (Act Apprentices).

Now, click on the New Registration link and register by filling in the required details.

After registration, click on Login and complete the form by filling in the other required details.

After this, deposit the prescribed fee and submit the form.

Finally, take a printout and keep it safe for future reference.

Application fee

In this recruitment, candidates coming from the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to deposit Rs 141 along with the application. The fee for SC, ST, PH, and female candidates of all categories is only Rs 41.

Recruitment Details
A total of 2865 posts will be filled through this recruitment. Candidates will be selected for the vacant posts on the basis of a merit list. Document verification of the selected shortlisted candidates will be done, and only after being successful in this, appointment will be given to the vacant post.
