Ingredients for making Sabudana Barfi
Sabudana - 1 cup
Coconut or almond milk - half cup
Powdered sugar - 2 teaspoons
Cardamom powder - half teaspoon
Cashews - 6-7 chopped
Almonds - 6-7 chopped
Pistachios - chopped
Desi ghee - 1 teaspoon
Dry coconut - 1 teaspoon
Method of making Sabudana Barfi
First of all, heat a pan on the gas. Now add sago and roast it. When it becomes golden brown, turn off the flame. Let it cool. Now put it in the mixer and grind it like a fine powder. Take it out in a bowl. Now add sugar, cardamom powder, dry coconut, and mix. Add milk and mix. Make it like a thick paste. It should not be wet, otherwise the barfi will not take its shape quickly. Now, apply ghee on a plate. Put this paste on it and spread it well. Garnish it by finely chopping pistachios, cashews, almonds on top. Now cover it and keep it in the fridge for half an hour so that it freezes. Now cut it in the shape of barfi with the help of a knife. Delicious sabudana barfi is ready.
