Gaya: A shocking incident surfaced from Bihar, where a 26-year-old woman participating in a Home Guard recruitment drive in Gaya was allegedly gangraped in a moving ambulance. According to reports, the girl was being taken to a hospital after collapsing during a physical test when the heinous crime took place on July 24.
The woman reportedly collapsed during a Home Guard recruitment exercise at the Bihar Military Police grounds in Bodh Gaya. The police arrested two people identified by the complainant in connection with the case.
These two people had appeared at a recruitment drive for home guards. "When the woman fainted, on July 24, she was rushed to the Anugrah Narain Medical College and Hospital at Gayaji in an ambulance. After she gained consciousness, she alleged that she was raped inside the vehicle," said SP (Town) Ramanand Kumar Kaushal, as quoted by PTI.

The woman also identified them. Their reply was not satisfactory, so they were arrested and booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Samhita," he added.
The medical examination of the rape survivor was conducted. The arrested accused have been identified as Vinay Kumar and Ajit Kumar, reported NDTV. As per the media report, Vinay was the driver of the ambulance and Ajit was the technician on board. The two men are currently in police custody.
The police reportedly tracked the ambulance with the help of CCTV footage. The woman told the police that at the time of the incident, there were three to four men inside the ambulance.
A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.
