Medik8 fans say 'magical' anti-ageing eye cream makes dark circles 'disappear'

Medik8 has launched an impressive sale on their 'greatest' skincare hits including the Crystal Retinal Eye Ceramide. The 'magical' serum would usually start at £42 but has dropped down to £33.60.

It uses twin-encapsulated retinaldehyde which has been proven to work up to 11 times faster than standard retinol, this targets the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, discolouration, uneven skin texture and firmness. It also contains ceramides for the skin barrier, hyaluronic acid filling spheres for hydration and chamomile extract to soothe skin.

While retinol and retinal have been known to be harsher on skin than some other ingredients, it is showing up in a number of eye products. The INKEY List Retinol Eye Cream is currently £13 at SpaceNK and LookFantastic is selling Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal for £15, both are popular although neither have as many reviews as Medik8's hit.

The Medik8 serum has pulled in an impressive average rating of 4.8 out of five from over 1,700 reviews. One happy shopper wrote: "I used to have dark circles under my eyes and let me tell you that after I started using Crystal Retinal Eye Ceramide they disappeared! This is a magical serum!"

Another was thrilled by the impact on her skin, saying: "Oh my word. This has dethroned R-Retinoate as my favourite product ever. It is beautiful. I dot it under my eyes and on my crows feet and I can truthfully say that it instantly makes a difference which only gets better over time.
