A mum thought she snagged a bargain from Shein when she spotted a pair of sandals for just £3.34. Shauna O’Neill popped them into her basket and was looking forward to wearing them on a family holiday with her fiancé, Gary, and their son, Bailey.
However, the 27-year-old didn't check the listing properly. Shauna, from Crewe, tore open the box and realised the footwear was much smaller than she expected when it arrived last month. We're talking baby-sized!
The sandals barely fit three of her toes, let alone her whole foot. Speaking about the shopping fail, Shauna said: "I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. Me and my fiancé burst out laughing and haven’t stopped since.

“I had no idea they made shoes so small – especially not with a heel too. It was absolutely hilarious.
“I ordered a bunch of things at the same time so I didn’t see the listing name at first. It’s the best mistake I’ve made in a while.”

Shauna realised the shoes were listed as children's sandals, which is why they didn't fit! She said: “After I opened the package, I went back onto the website and saw that they do state they are children’s shoes.
"It was fully my mistake, I was too distracted by what I thought was a bargain.”
Shauna decided to gift them to her family dog, Kaya, instead. She said: “She’s such a good girl and loves to be dressed up, as you can see from the happiness in her little face!
“Kaya could hardly believe her luck getting her very own pair of sandals for the summer. She just needs a pedicure to go with them now.”
Shauna snapped some hilarious photos and posted them onto Facebook, where they've garnered more than 2,900 likes and 500 comments from amused viewers.

One said: “Omg I laughed with tears. You ordered the kids size but was even so funny to see you trying them.”
Another wrote: “I couldn’t breathe at the three toes in them but then when I saw the dog I lost it, pretty girl needs them in all colours.”
Meanwhile, a third added: "This has made my day, i wasn't in the best of moods until now... I'm crying."
Thankfully, Shauna was able to find a new pair of sandals before she jetted off on holiday. And the whole ordeal has given her a lot to laugh about!
She added: “My family and friends found it so funny. Not just the fact I made a silly mistake but the silver lining of it all – it’s certainly brought many smiles to many faces, mainly Kayla’s! I’ve still got time to get some other shoes, just not from Shein.”
Shein has been contacted for comment.
