New Delhi, August 2, 2025 — In a significant move aimed at empowering the country’s farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This timely disbursement is set to benefit over 8 crore eligible farmers, each receiving ₹2000 directly into their bank accounts under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

What is PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?Launched in 2019, the PM-Kisan scheme is a central government initiative aimed at providing income support of ₹6000 annually to eligible farmers in three equal installments of ₹2000 each.
