Flying the Union Jack from lampposts has become the equivalent of a two-fingered salute to this anti-British, anti-success Labour government. Every day they stay in office they commit more unfathomable acts of self-harm against our country - the latest being the inexplicable collapse of the Chinese spy case, where Sir Keir Starmer has failed to prosecute two alleged spies and is undermining our relationship with the US.
Make no mistake, this is a massive betrayal of our national interest, even provoking the former head of M16 Richard Dearlove to call it "damaging", but it is waved away by Starmer as if it were of minor significance.
We all have our theories, from incompetence to shady deals, but what seems increasingly likely is that Rachel from Accounts has weakened the UK's finances so much that the government is prepared to be bullied by a foreign power to drop charges of spying in return for a few pieces of silver.
How utterly depressing that the UK has sunk so low, and this outrage - hot on the heels of paying Mauritius, an ally of China, billions to take the strategically vital Chagos Islands from us - shows just how much our once proud country is now having its strings pulled by the Chinese Communist Party, a sworn enemy of the West. No wonder this Labour government is so desperate not to block the proposed Chinese Super Embassy in London, despite our intelligence services' concerns about the security implications of it.
The fact is we are being governed by misguided left-wing extremists who are running our economy and global reputation into the ground.
Mad Net Zero zealot Ed Miliband is pushing people into poverty and forcing businesses abroad so that Labour can pursue its pious and bankrupting green agenda.
Rachel Reeves is happy to keep imposing unaffordable tax hikes on our wealth creators rather than cutting public spending. The British state now employs 6.2million adults (including part-timers) and is paying out-of-work benefits to 6.5m others - the economics of the madhouse.
Meanwhile the nasty chip on the shoulder of Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson is dismantling our education system step by step. A Freedom of Information request revealed ministers knew that their tax raid on private schools would force schools to drastically reduce education provision. When you add in the hate marches that have been allowed to flourish week in week out, illegal immigration hitting record levels, and thousands of dangerous criminals released from prison, there is no wonder that 14,000 Brits fled the UK last year.
The latest to leave is Nikolay Storonsky, the founder of Revolut, who would have faced a punitive £3.4bn capital gains tax grab, so he's off to the UAE where there is no capital gains tax.
Instead of chasing communist China for money and driving our own wealth creators overseas, wouldn't it be far better if the UK government kept those high-calibre Brits here and stopped kowtowing to the Chinese communists?
We'll need a change of government for that to happen.
