Benefit's grey eyebrow gel shoppers say 'works very well on older eyebrows' is under £20

Eyebrow gels are a great way to enhance the look of your eyebrows for a fuller and thicker appearance. While plenty of beauty brands offer gels in shades of black, brunette, and blonde, a few are expanding their shade ranges to include grey for shoppers who want to prioritise a more natural look. Benefit's Gimme Brow+ Volumising Gel is one such product, which has been hailed by older shoppers for "defined natural-looking brows."

The eyebrow gel is available from Boots for £26, but at the time of writing, it's even cheaper when bought directly from Benefit, where it's currently on sale for £18.20. The shade is described as "cool grey". However, if you prefer a different colour, it also comes in various tones of blonde, brunette and auburn.

One shopper who used the grey gel and left a review on the Boots website said: "The grey works very well on older eyebrows. I find this easy to use on my thinning brows. This is my first time using the grey on my fading brown with occasional white hairs, and I'm happy with the effect."

Another customer said the shade is "best for dark grey" eyebrows.

The eyebrow gel has a 4.7-star rating on both the Boots website and Benefit. A customer on the Benefit website wrote: "This is best eyebrow colour and enhancer ever. This product is by far the best on the market. Easy to apply, covers grey and doesn't come off! Even when you sweat."

Another shopper also said they liked the size of the spoolie due to its small and precise size. However, one shopper with much thinner eyebrows said: "I thought this would help with my nonexistent brows, turns out you need to have brows in order to use this product to make them look thicker."

As the name suggests, the product is a gel-like substance. It is applied using a small spoolie (similar to a mascara brush) that glides onto the eyebrows. Benefit says that the gel contains tiny microfibers that help the product cling to eyebrow hairs. The brush-style application means it's likely to look more natural than using an eyebrow pencil alone, although the product can be used along with an eyebrow pencil.

Benefit also offers its Precisely, Brow Pencil in the same grey shade for £20.80 (down from £26).
