Jeremy Clarkson, 65, skipped the Euros final to help deliver his dog Arya's adorable puppies. The Clarkson's Farm star took to Instagram to share a heartwarming clip of the red-fox Labrador and her litter of puppies, who were feeding from her.
Jeremy shared: "Now, I know you have all been enjoying the football, but I've been rather busy, if I am honest, because look what Ayra's done," he began as he panned the phone to his Labrador Arya, who had given birth to multiple puppies. Turning the camera back to himself, Jeremy added: "Yay, I mean well done, Lionesses, but really, really, really well done, Arya."
His followers flocked to the comment section to congratulate Jeremy, with his Clarkson's Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper writing: "Whoop whoop! Can't wait to meet them all."
Someone else wrote: "Congratulations and well done, Arya. Looking forward to puppy spam over the next few months." A third wrote: "Those little squeaks... just the most precious little creatures."
Another penned: "Celebrations all around! Well done, mama!" Meanwhile, one person shared: "Have fun. Hope you manage to get some sleep."
Arya is one of Jeremy's two Labradors, with the other one being named Sansa. Both Arya and Sansa are named after characters in the hit HBO show Game of Thrones.
Less than a year ago, Arya underwent surgery for a potentially life-threatening urinary infection.
Jeremy shared the concerned news with his social media followers at the time as he revealed she was "under the knife".
Thankfully, she made a full recovery and has gone on to produce a pack of healthy puppies.
It is not known yet if Jeremy will keep the litter for his Oxfordshire-based farm, sell them, or give them away to loving homes.
