Meghan Markle and Harry welcome new celebrity neighbour - and it explains recent PR stunt

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a new celebrity neighbour in their Montecito neighbourhood, who is a Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV star and model - Kendall Jenner. She quietly purchased a $23million (£17million) mansion with six-acres, adding to her real estate portfolio.

The property features a 15,000-square-foot main house, professional-grade horse stables, and sweeping Pacific Ocean views. The new move could be the reason Meghan Markle has upped the ante with her PR tactics and gifting with her As Ever brand.

Over the weekend, Kendall's sister, Khloe Kardashian, 41, shared snaps from Kylie Jenner's 28th birthday party over the weekend, which included a deluxe hamper from the former working royal's luxury brand, which Meghan is likely to have gifted to the family. The hamper included bottles of Meghan's vintage wine, famous jam, and an array of vegetables.

Kendall's new estate is adjacent to Oprah's Winfrey's house, and only a short drive from Harry and Meghan's multi-million pound mansion. It was once home to TV host Ellen DeGeneres, as well as Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd and Tinder co-founder Sean Rad.

Meghan appeared to share a screenshot of the gifted present, which appeared on Khloe's Instagram alongside three white hearts and a message saying, "Hey hey all my girls with a K," as well as a kissing face emoji.

The Duchess of Sussex released her As Ever Napa Valley Rosé 2024 - described as evoking the same "soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish" as the 2023 rose - last week. It came just over a month after the previous rosé was launched and sold out in less than an hour.

The new wine has the exact same price point as her previous batch, and is available in batches of three, six and 12, with each bottle costing £22 ($30) and sold at £66 ($90), £116 ($159) and £218 ($300) respectively.

A new press release issued by Archewell Productions and shared by Netflix stated the As Ever brand, "developed in partnership with Netflix, will continue expanding into new product categories with new items continuing to be released throughout the remainder of the year."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Archewell Productions also triumphantly announced on Monday that they are "extending their partnership" with Netflix with a new "multi-year first look" deal.

Netflix's new deal will see the streaming giant have the first look at the Sussex couple's production ideas before deciding if they want to work on it.
