Meghan Markle's best friend plugs As Ever wine in casual Instagram post

Meghan Markle's best friend has subtly promoted the Duchess of Sussex's wine in a recent Instagram post. Abigail Spencer, who starred on Suits alongside Meghan before she married Prince Harry, is known for being one of the duchess' best friends.

Just earlier this week, the actress, 44, posted a gushing birthday tribute to Meghan, calling her "champagne in human form" and a "sister". She also took to Instagram just days before that, and subtly plugged the duchess' As Ever wine.

Sharing photographs taken in Hudson Valley, New York, Abigail posed with Meghan's As Ever wine, with the bottle on clear view.

In another picture, Abigail held up the wine bottle, which sells for £22.

The actress, who starred on Meghan's Netflix show "With Love, Meghan", even went as far as to include the hashtag #asever in a comment on her post, which also contained a series of photographs not linked to Meghan's wine.

While this may not have been a promotional post of her friend's brand, fans were quick to notice the presence of Meghan's As Ever product.

One fan wrote: "You + As Ever Napa Valley Rosé is a whole vibe."

Another said: "We all deserve to have friends like you."

Someone else commented: "Thank you for sharing...True sisterhood."

A fourth said: "It's lovely to see how you support Meghan."

This is not the first time Abigail has supported Meghan since the duchess launched her As Ever brand earlier this year. Before the brand officially launched, Abigail posted a video of the As Ever fruit spread on Instagram and captioned the post: "Start spread-ing the news."
